Steph Smith creates sculptural vessels inspired by traditional ceramic forms and patterns. The interplay between form and surface is important in her work. Steph uses a range of surface treatments and printmaking techniques to explore ideas about memory, nature and the creative process itself. Each piece is multi-fired to build layers of depth and colour.
